Highlights in Bradley Stoke Matters' What's On Diary this week include a Community Fun Day at Holy Trinity Church (Monday 5th) and a Family Diso and Barbecue at Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre (Saturday 10th).
Graffiti Daubed at Baileys Court
The Bradley Stoke Examiner reports that the newly refurbished Baileys Court Activity Centre has been defaced by graffiti. In response, the website has started a "Gang Watch" page, where residents can report problems caused by youths in the town.
Council falls out with Tesco over "The Brooks Centre"
The Bradley Stoke Journal reports that Bradley Stoke Town Council has fallen out with Tesco over the naming of the town's new shopping centre. The Council claims the superstore group had promised a competition for schoolchildren to choose the name, but Tesco changed its mind about running a competition and decided on "The Brooks Centre".
