North Fringe Rapid Transit Package Approved by Government
The Bradley Stoke Journal reports that the Government has approved "in principle" funding 0f £168 million for the proposed Hengrove to North Fringe Rapid Transit Package. The scheme could see high speed buses linking Bradley Stoke with Bristol city centre, running partly along newly constructed, dedicated bus lanes.
Pets at Home Confirmed for Willow Brook
The Bradley Stoke Examiner reports that Pets at Home has finally been officially confirmed as a future tenant of the Willow Brook Centre. The news confirms an earlier report in the Bradley Stoke Journal (in April 2009), which pointed out that the company was advertising for staff at its “Bradley Stoke New Store”.

MS Therapy Centre in Race Against Time
The Bradley Stoke Journal reports that the organistion behind a new MS Therapy Centre in Bradley Stoke is facing a race against time to obtain planning permission and commence building. A major funding source will be lost if construction is not underway by Spring 2010.
Woman Assaulted in Willow Brook Car Park
The Bradley Stoke Examiner reports that a 62 year-old was injured when she was kicked during an argument in the car park of the Willow Brook Centre. The woman was taken to Frenchay Hospital but did not require treatment.

Football Club Seeks new Players to Strengthen Squad

Cars Stolen after Keys Snatched During Break-ins
